Long Subway Tile Bathroom

In this bathroom designed by arent pyke the white subway tiles take a backseat so the purple marble sky blue paint and yellow tile accents can shine but they still offer some textural intrigue.

Classic white subway tile will always add timeless appeal to any bathroom. It looks great on the walls in a bathroom especially if the room is not so big. After doing to scale mockups of some various tile sizes i figured out that a 3 12 tile would be the best size. If you want to avoid the boring all white effect choose a darker grout as in this bathroom for contrast and visual interest. But a new crop of colors and sizes brings variety to the marketplace as do colorful grouts and inset tiles.

Some people choose to paint for the bathroom and they could care less about the long and exhausting process of decorating walls. This subway tile adds sophisticated depth to any space. We advise you to pay your attention to the large subway tile in a shower.
